Tekla 3D modelling:

Tekla is a powerful tool for designing steelwork widely adopted by the AEC industries.  The models include all necessary components to design and fabricate beams, columns and connections.  By using Tekla as our choice software package we can produce highly accurate and constructible steelwork designs, reducing errors and improving project efficiency.  If you have Structural Engineers details and IFC models available as part of your steelwork package we can ensure that the design meets the requirements allowing for timely comments and approvals helping you to keep to project timeframes.  Alternatively we can bring our extensive experience to the table to assist you with your Design and Build project. 

 

Steelwork packages typically include:

1. Approval, Construction and As-built GA's

2. Site installation GA's

3. Full FAB PACK drawings including Material/Assembly/Bolt Lists

4. NC files

5. IFC models

6. BIM collaboration​​

If site dimensions and information is required we can attend site with our LiDAR scanning equipment to produce a point-cloud of the site as part of a Scan-to-Design service.  This allows us to model within a real-world 3D environment reducing costly errors and help identifying any potential clash issues.

Photo-realistic visuals and animations can also be created from the 3D Tekla model for your client or for your own website and social media content.

Autocad 2D draughting:

​For projects where 3D modelling is not required we offer Traditional 2D CAD services using Autocad.  Especially useful for drafting architectural plans, schematics and sheet-metal patterns.

For our Scan-to-Cad service Autocad is part of the workflow to produce the survey plans and elevations from sections through the high density E57 point-cloud produced by our LiDAR Scanner.

3D LiDAR surveys:

The AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) sectors can benefit greatly from using LiDAR surveys to create 3D point clouds instead of just relying on tape measures and point lasers.  These detailed digital models of a site provide accurate real-time data allowing us to visualise the space accurately.

2)Scan-to-cad

By creating accurate sections through the high density E57 point-cloud we can create accurate as-built architectural 2D plans and elevations supplied to you in .dwg format.  You will also be provided 24/7 access to the 3D virtual tour so that you can walk-around the site as if you are actually there.  This 3D realistic access to the site provides a wealth of benefits when interpreting the 2D drawings to aid your design/planning activities. <Read More>>>
